The mission of the Do Like Duke Foundation is to honor the life and spirit of Duke Ommert by empowering children and young people to grow as confident, kind, and value-driven leaders.
Through youth sports, movement, mentorship, and community partnerships, the Foundation creates inclusive opportunities that help young people discover their God-given abilities, develop character, and encourage others - reflecting the way Duke lived his life.
Level the Field
We believe sports create better humans, but cost shouldn't be a barrier. We go beyond just providing gear—we build mentorship-driven programs that teach 'quiet leaders' to lift others up. We aren't just giving a child a uniform; we are giving them a team and a purpose.
Safer Streets
No family should have to choose between a child’s independence and their safety. We advocate for critical infrastructure—like HAWK signals and sidewalks—to ensure our neighborhoods are safe for every child to roam, play, and explore.
Building the Vision
We are in the early stages of building a foundation that matches the size of Duke's heart. We are partnering with ShareWaves to ensure every dollar is tax-deductible and held strictly for the Do Like Duke mission. We promise transparency as we grow.
