Why We Do Like Duke
The Do Like Duke Foundation was created by Ryan and Monica Ommert to carry forward the values Duke lived every single day. We focus on identifying "quiet leaders," removing financial barriers to youth sports, and advocating for safer streets so every child has a safe place to play and roam.
The Boy Who Started it All
From the moment he stepped onto a field or into the classroom, Duke brought energy and leadership. He cheered for the Chiefs and Huskers, but he was also a brilliant creator - spending hours in the school's Makers Mart and filming for his YouTube channel. Whether he was fishing or inventing, Duke created his own joy and shared it freely.
